"When the clutch pedal is stepped on,it not only releases the clutch but shifts the transmission to the next higher gear as well.Just bang the clutch and the shift is completed.A small lever on the bars reverses the procedure for downshifts.When sitting at the light the clutch pedal either has to be kept down or the transmission put in neutral,just as with a jockey shift."
